Her decades of service have powerfully shaped CAPV's work—rooted in dignity, equity, and community-led change. As Clare retires, we celebrate her vision of stronger, more just, and more connected communities.

Each year, CAPV partners with over 28,000 neighbors across Franklin and Hampshire counties to build paths toward economic stability, resilience, and thriving lives. As federal funding becomes less reliable, the Clare Higgins Fund will provide long-term support to preserve the essential programs, staffing, and infrastructure that serve as lifelines for thousands of families.

This fund reflects Clare's core belief in opportunity and respect for all, ensuring that CAPV can continue to be a trusted source of stability and hope—even in uncertain times.
