As your Community Action agency, we are committed to helping our most vulnerable neighbors. That commitment and our work has never been more critical.
We continue to provide essential services to those that need them most. Some of our staff are distributing food. Some are giving out diapers. Some are reaching out to at-risk families to make sure they’re OK. Some are certifying applications to make sure people stay warm and our local vendors get paid.
We recognize that the economic devastation of COVID-19 will long outlast the virus itself. We know that some of our most loyal supporters may now reach out to us for services. We also know that it’s our lower-income, working class neighbors who will likely be hit the hardest. We will all feel the impact of this pandemic in some way.
For that reason, we are especially grateful for those who have reached out and asked how they can help. In response, we have created an Emergency Fund so you can do just that. This fund, and your support, will allow us to flexibly meet the emerging needs of our lower-income neighbors hit hardest by COVID-19.
Thanks to an anonymous donor, all donations will be matched up to $10,000, which will help us reach our $50,000 goal!
If you find yourself in need of help, please contact us. If you find yourself with the ability to help, please consider a donation. We’ll get through this together.
